MM Screw installation Wood / concrete · read before mounting

Included with your Surface Mount. Use the MM mounting screws on a suitable receiving structure. A wall or horizontal face uses the same mount; the illustration does not specify a wall or deck construction.

1 · Check the structure

Locate sound structural wood or suitable concrete. Account for the mounting plate, any finish layers and the required embedment when checking the supplied screw length. Do not rely on cladding alone.

2 · Prepare the holes

Concrete and masonry require pre-drilling. Follow the supplied screw instructions for bit diameter, hole depth, cleaning, spacing and edge distance. For wood, follow the specified pilot-hole requirements for that material.

3 · Seat and check

Use the matching driver bit. Seat the hardware as specified without stripping the hole or overdriving. Check that the plate is secure before fitting the pole; support the pole whenever you release its angle pin.

Use the installation specifications supplied with your fasteners. The mounting surface, screw length and full flagpole load determine the connection; this illustration is not an anchorage rating. Boat laminates, hollow substrates and other structures require their own suitable fastening method.
