Gameday Field Notes

1. Inspect the flag, attachments, pole, mount, and surroundings.
2. Keep the flag clear of the ground, floor, water, and nearby obstructions.
3. Position the United States flag in the place of honor required by the display arrangement.
4. Raise it deliberately and verify that the field of stars is correctly oriented.

Title 36, Section 301 describes conduct during a rendition of the national anthem. People present should face the flag and stand at attention; the law also identifies the appropriate salute or hand-over-heart conduct for uniformed service members, veterans, and other attendees.

1. Lower the United States flag under control.
2. Release the spinner attachments without pulling on the flag body.
3. Move the flag directly into its respectful storage procedure.
4. Inspect and attach the Authentic Gameday Flag, then raise it for the event.

1. Lower and support the flag so it does not touch the ground or floor.
2. Confirm that it is clean and completely dry before storage.
3. Use a respectful fold. The traditional triangular fold is a recognized presentation method, although the Flag Code does not prescribe one mandatory fold.
4. Store it in a clean, dry location protected from abrasion, moisture, and contaminants.

1. Remove the flag from the Cable Bearing Spinner without pulling the fabric against the attachment.
2. For repeat field use, avoid a tight compression fold. Loosely roll from the free edge toward the header, or around a clean pole section.
3. Keep the graphics visible enough to identify the flag before the next setup.
4. Do not pack it wet. Follow the product-specific cleaning instructions for its printed fabric and construction.
