Screw the pole on. Keep the finish untouched.

The MVP pole threads into its dedicated receiver. The connection does not rely on a clamp or set screw biting into the polished pole surface, so repeated setup does not require sacrificing the finish.

FIVE INDEXED ANGLES / AUTHORED HOLE CENTERS

0° to 90°. One verified pivot.

The side profiles use the authored clevis pivot and five indexed hole centers. Choose the pole direction that fits the prepared wall, floor, beam, railing, roof, or vessel surface, then verify the complete mounting and load path.

Angle describes pole direction relative to the mounted surface. The pole continues outside each close-up frame; the mount angle does not set the flag height on the pole.

HONORING THE FLAG / DISPLAY PROTOCOL

Five angles for the architecture. One flag protocol.

The mount angle controls the direction of the pole. Full-staff or half-staff describes where the flag is positioned on the pole; it is a separate operation from selecting a mount angle.

  1. 01

    Set the installation. Select an indexed angle, mounting surface, and fastener route appropriate for the complete display.

  2. 02

    Honor half-staff protocol on land. When officially directed, first hoist the United States flag to the peak, then lower it to half-staff.

  3. 03

    Close the display correctly. Before lowering the flag for the day, raise it to the peak again. Aboard a vessel, the corresponding term is half-mast.
