  1. 01Define the operation

    Start with the part, target work center, datum intent, access, quantity, and the problem the fixture needs to remove.

  2. 02Develop the hold

    Organize location, clamping, support, loading, tool access, and operator interaction around the released process.

  3. 03Prove the setup

    Check that the fixture supports the intended operation and preserves the required part and tool access.

  4. 04Release the tooling

    Keep the fixture record, setup definition, and target work center connected for repeat use and revision.
