EXO MODULAR MOTION / APPLICATION PATH
Camper and Van Motion Systems
Vans and campers are packaging problems with wheels. Storage, cooking, sleeping, and service access all compete for the same few inches. Modular rails and visible motion hardware make it possible to develop pull-outs, movable partitions, refrigerator trays, exterior modules, and removable service platforms around the conversion instead of around a sealed mechanism.
We start with the useful positions, keep the service path accessible, and define how the rail, carriage, force path, routing hardware, stops, and locks work together.
Vibration, dirt, side load, utilities, secondary retention, and everyday misuse remain project-specific review items. A configured set is a starting point for evidence, not automatic approval.
01 / DEFINE THE USEFUL MOTION
Start with the positions. Make the unknowns visible.
Send the available envelope, useful positions, target travel, moving mass, mounting surfaces, and the files you already have.
01 / TRAVEL
Where does it start and stop?
Record the useful positions, travel, clearances, and anything the mechanism cannot cross.
02 / LOAD
What moves with it?
Capture the moving mass, center of gravity, uneven loading, utilities, and user interaction.
03 / MOUNTING
What can carry the path?
Identify the structure, attachment zones, access points, and surfaces that must remain untouched.
04 / CONTROL
How does it move and stay put?
Separate the actuation path from the positive stops, locks, service position, and secondary retention.
05 / ENVIRONMENT
What will it live through?
Document water, dirt, vibration, heat, pinch access, cycle expectations, inspection, and replacement needs.
02 / THE SHARED SYSTEM
Five components. Five separate jobs.
A configured set is a reviewable starting point, not automatic approval. Actuated does not mean powered, and powered does not mean automated.
BUILD THE FIRST USEFUL PROOF
Show us what needs to move.
Send the available envelope, useful positions, target travel, moving mass, mounting surfaces, and the files you already have.
