EXO MODULAR MOTION / SERVICEABLE BUILDING SYSTEMS

Make the part move. Keep the system serviceable.

EXO develops configurable rail, carriage, webbing, pulley, and hardware systems for projects that need to slide, lift, position, stop, lock, and come apart for service.

01 / THE SYSTEM CHAIN

Five jobs. One visible force path.

EXOSTRUT constrains the path. SlipKnut translates. LaserWeb transmits force. RolyPulley routes it. EXO-HDW anchors, stops, locks, senses, guards, and makes the system serviceable.

02 / WHERE IT FITS

Start with the motion problem.

These are development paths, not universal assemblies. Bring the travel, package, load, environment, and service access. We will help define the configuration and the evidence it needs.

03 / MOTION STATES

Name the level of control honestly.

A configured component set is not automatically an approved assembly. Actuated does not mean powered, and powered does not mean automated.

MANUAL

Human force moves it.

The operator supplies the force and controls the motion directly.

ACTUATED

A mechanism moves it.

A web route, screw, spring, counterbalance, or other mechanism changes how force reaches the moving part.

POWERED

Stored or supplied energy moves it.

A motor, cylinder, or other powered device supplies force under a defined control path.

AUTOMATED

Logic decides when it moves.

Sensors and controls govern a reviewed sequence, including limits, interlocks, failure states, and human access.

04 / EVIDENCE

Configuration first. Proof before the claim.

The product page can explain the architecture early. Ratings, suitability, safety language, and release status follow the exact assembly and its test record.

CONCEPT

Problem framed.

The intended motion, packaging, interfaces, and service goal are visible. Geometry may still be incomplete.

CONFIGURED

Parts related.

Exact component revisions, dimensions, travel, stops, locks, and interfaces are recorded for review.

TESTED

Conditions recorded.

The fixture, method, loads, cycles, anomalies, measurements, and acceptance decision stay with the configuration.

RELEASED

Use boundary approved.

The approved record states what the assembly is, what it is not, and which revision the published claims describe.

05 / SHARED LANGUAGE

A small vocabulary keeps the system understandable.

These definitions are repeated in the visible page and the structured data so people, search engines, and AI systems read the same relationships.

Travel path
The constrained direction and distance through which a moving part is intended to translate or rotate.
Carriage
The captured interface that connects the moving platform to the rail or guide.
Force path
The connected route through which input force reaches the moving part.
Positive stop
A reviewed physical limit that defines an end of travel without relying only on the operator or control signal.
Lock
A component or mechanism intended to hold a defined state after motion stops.
Configuration record
The exact revisions, selections, dimensions, modes, interfaces, and evidence references that identify one build state.

BUILD A CUSTOM SOLUTION

Bring the space. Bring the travel. Bring the weird constraint.

We are comfortable starting before every answer is known. We will organize what must move, what it connects to, how it is controlled, and what has to be proven before release.
