Instrumentation and Automation Motion

The first job is a clean mechanical path with known stops, locks, service positions, and failure modes. From there, EXO-HDW can carry position sensors, limit switches, cable management, and qualified drive interfaces. That creates a route from manual proof to assisted, powered, or eventually automated motion without pretending those states are interchangeable.

The mechanical configuration remains understandable even as controls are added. Its rail, carriage, force path, routing, limits, and locks keep their own identities and revision history.

Powered and automated builds add controls, guarding, emergency behavior, power-loss response, fault handling, and functional-safety work. They stay on a separate release track.

Identify the structure, attachment zones, access points, and surfaces that must remain untouched.

How does it move and stay put?

Separate the actuation path from the positive stops, locks, service position, and secondary retention.

05 / ENVIRONMENT

What will it live through?

Document water, dirt, vibration, heat, pinch access, cycle expectations, inspection, and replacement needs.
