Strut Nut is one governed part record that can serve compatible EXOSTRUT and EXOHDW assemblies. Verify the channel profile, thread, fastener, material, engagement, load path, and installation rather than assuming universality from the name alone.
Choose thread, retention style, and material. Plain and spring selections are sold individually; the Superstrut GoldGalv/blue-nylon cone selection is sold as a supplier five-pack. Project-specific equivalency requires review.

CHANNEL / THREAD / RETENTION
A universal fastening point with a controlled fit.
Choose a standard strut-channel nut by thread, retention style, and material. Available threads are 1/4-20, 3/8-16, and 1/2-13.
Retention
- No spring: a plain channel nut for direct placement and adjustment.
- With spring: the spring helps hold the nut in position inside the channel during layout and assembly.
- Nylon cone / 5-pack: ABB Superstrut's pliable nylon cone keeps the nut positioned without a spring projecting into the channel. The supplier catalog identifies this cone family for all standard strut depths, helping it stay flush to the channel opening for easy adjustment and staged hardware positions.
Materials and selling units
- Zinc-plated steel or stainless steel: sold as one nut for the plain and spring-retained selections.
- GoldGalv steel + blue nylon: sold as one supplier five-pack for the cone selections.
